Who We Are

Our core mission is to reduce the number of unwanted pets in our area. We do this by rescuing and finding loving homes for Cocker Spaniels in need and providing access to low-cost spay and neuter surgeries to our community.

Second Chance Spay and Neuter Clinic, and Arlo’s Sanctuary are both a part of Second Chance Cocker Rescue, Inc, a non-profit California Corporation. SCCR is run by a board of directors, Elizabeth Fitzgerald, Debra Shelton, Michele Gitomer, Teresa Tyhurst, and Leslie Costa. Our board are all volunteers.

As a non-profit, All proceeds are directed back into the business allowing is to keep our services as low cost as possible for the community. Your donations go to pay the staff, buy supplies, equipment and overhead like insurance and utilities to keep us open. Your donations make you an important, valued part of the solution to pet over-population.

It is about saving lives, one SNIP at a time.
